UPDATE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 21-22: As DC Public Schools (DCPS) continues to prioritize the health and safety of our students, teachers, and families during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, DCPS has prohibited international travel for the 2021-2022 school year; DCPS Study Abroad will travel to only domestic destinations for summer 2022. All participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to travel.

DCPS Study Abroad is a global education program that allows DCPS’ global citizens to access global experiences, so that travel becomes the expectation rather than the exception for students. DCPS Study Abroad offers fully funded short-term study abroad programs on language immersion, service learning or global leadership for eligible DCPS students.
